The platform’s primary goal is to optimize operations by providing a complete overview of machine and workforce capacity alongside client demands, while automating much of the planning process.


For this project, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the client's production processes, immersing ourselves in their workflow to define essential features effectively. We then managed the entire full-stack development of the platform, ensuring it aligned with their unique operational needs.

Key Features of the Platform

Calendar Feature

The Calendar feature serves as a central hub for real-time scheduling and efficient resource allocation across projects. Drawing directly from project management data, it organizes tasks by priority, part sequence, end dates, and other critical factors to achieve an optimized production schedule.

(Matrix) Calendar View of Dates and Resources

Displays dates, timelines, and resource availability (machine and workforce), offering a comprehensive view for effective time management and gap identification.

Automatic Task Adjustment

Tasks are automatically adjusted based on production flow. If a task is manually moved, all dependent tasks update accordingly to maintain correct sequencing, essential for production lines with a strict order of operations.

Project-Specific Adjustments

Changes in project priorities or parameters trigger automatic calendar updates, keeping the schedule current and aligned with evolving requirements.

Task Pinning for Efficiency

Similar tasks or parts can be grouped, minimizing machine setup time by scheduling shared requirements consecutively.

Manual Adjustments

While the platform automates scheduling, it also offers the flexibility to manually adjust tasks as needed, providing customized scheduling options for special cases.

Detailed Task Access

Each scheduled task links directly to project details (drawings, plans), ensuring workforce teams have immediate access to all necessary information, enhancing productivity and reducing errors.

Workforce and Capacity Optimization

The platform optimizes workforce deployment, strategically managing resource allocation to meet deadlines efficiently.

Time Off and Reduced Capacity Management

This feature manages workforce availability and machine capacity reductions due to planned absences or maintenance. It automatically adjusts scheduling and resource allocation to account for time off or reduced capacity.
